Gucci Bloom fragrance comes out on the market in August 2017, the first one under the hand of the creative Alessandro Michele. The fragrance was not only created under the direction of Michele, but he directly collaborated with perfumer Alberto Morillas on the scent, making this a joint venture between the two. This is the second flowery project refined by the artistic director from his arrival at the Gucci House of the year 2015. The campaign’s idea is revealed through the contemporary women of Gucci’s: actress Dakota Johnson, actress and model Hari Nef and the artist Petra Collins.
“I wanted a rich white floral fragrance, a courageous scent that transports you to a vast garden filled with many flowers and plants, a bouquet of abundance. The garden is as beautiful as women are; colorful, wild, diverse, where there is everything. Gucci Bloom smells of this garden in order to travel to a place that is not there,” was Alessandro Michele’s description of the scent.
Gucci Bloom Qualities
Natural Tuberose from India is tangled with natural Jasmine absolute. Jasmine bud extract, obtained through an exclusive method of co-extraction that blends a natural quality of jasmine and captive molecules to impart a fresh green and petal scent on the skin. Gucci Bloom also features notes of another plant for the first time in the perfume industry, the Rangoon Creeper. Discovered in South India, the Rangoon Creeper represent the new scent’s concept and name, as it changes color from white, gradually darkens to pink then finally to red when it blooms.

This is not just another floral fragrance, there is something magical about it. Its initial impact is as overwhelming and dizzying as your first love and it lingers, strong and sexy on bare skin so it imprints on you all day and well into the night.
I love flowers in general and the first time I smelled this I found it very feminine and also had something like a little sharp or spicy that makes it more powerful than some other flowers. Perfect for brunch with friends, springtime, office job, summer dinner date, the scent is versatile and will blend in well for many occasions. In terms of development, Gucci Bloom is relatively linear. Instead of changing drastically in time is stays largely the same. It is sweet but not sickly, sharp but not annoying, loud but not disturbing. A classic composition made for all those who love white flowers.
Described as a classic composition made for all those who love white flowers, the bottle design is modern and elegant, adorned with a vintage powder pink shade, minimalist and sleek. Very good longevity and above average sillage
After wearing it for just two days, I was in awe of the compliments I received and how many I convinced to invest in Gucci Bloom with ease. I guarantee that you will fall so head-over-heels for Gucci Bloom that it will replace your signature fragrance without a moment’s hesitation. Gucci Bloom is available as 30, 50, and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
