Calvin Klein comes out in August 2018 with the first fragrance developed under the new Chief Creative Officer of the house, Raf Simons. The fragrance is simply called Calvin Klein Women and it is advertised with the slogan ‘’I Am Women’’. The composition was developed by the perfumers Hornorine Blanc and Annick Menardo.
As for the advertising campaign, Lupita Nyong’o and Saoirse Ronan are faces behind the new fragrance. The campaign features beautiful portraits of them in color alongside black and white photos of well- known women who have inspired them. Nyong’o’s headshot is positioned alongside artistically cropped photos of Eartha Kitt and Katharine Hepburn, while Ronan’s sits to the right of Sissy Spacek and Nina Simone.
The fragrance is a woody floral build around three principal ingredients: eucalyptus acorns, orange flower petals, and Alaskan cedarwood. Those keynotes are blended with black pepper, lemon, Magnolia grandiflora, jasmine absolute, olibanum essential oil, and Ambrox Super. According to the brand it “fuses strength with fragility, freshness with sensuality.”

The bottle was designed under Raf Simon’s attention and looks like a rectangular glass vessel with an oversized disc-shaped cap featuring an eye graphic. Calvin Klein Women is available as a 30, 50, and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
